BONDI BEACH. SYDNEY NSW

Bondi Beach. Sydney. New South Wales Australia
What’s the first beach that comes to mind when you think of Australian Beaches? Bondi Beach of course. Bondi Beach is arguably the most famous beach in Australia and well known to tourists around the world. Bondi Beach is a “must do” of international travellers and backpackers, when visiting Tourist Icons of Australia…

Bondi Beach is located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney and only a short drive from the Sydney domestic and international airports, or the Sydney CBD. You can hire a car, catch a train, bus or taxi from the Airport to get to Bondi Beach.

Bondi Beach is one of the safest patrolled beaches in Australia-the world for that matter. It has to be, as one of the worlds busiest beaches, you can expect anywhere between 2000 and 15000 people vying for a space in the sand or a wave on most days in Summer.

Bondi Beach has surf able quality waves for stand up surfers, but if you are a serious surfer, leave it to the lid riders and swimmers, as there are better waves located either in the south or northern beaches of Sydney.

Campbell Parade is the main esplanade and entertainment precinct of the Bondi Beach area. This main strip of Bondi Beach, lures tourists with quality fashion shopping, surf shops, café eateries , restaurants and  the famous Bondi Hotel, where you can enjoy a relaxing Australian beer and let your voyeurism loose to enjoy the beautiful people show, that is sure to keep the young and old occupied for an hour or three…

Being located so close to the city, also makes Bondi Beach a popular starting or finishing point to a “night on the town” Bondi is also a popular New Years Eve destination, so book your accommodation in Bondi Beach early.
