Yarra Valley Wineries
There are over 50 wine makers in this region, with a variety of different tasting cool climate wines on offer. The Yarra Valley is becoming world renowned for the quality of the wine it produces. There are also fine dining restaurants in some of the wineries, and impressive art galleries. Visit Domaine Chandon and try the world famous champagne.
Marysville & Lake Mountain
The subalpine village of Marysville, complete with brilliant arts and crafts outlets and eateries, is the gateway to the wonderfull Steavenson Falls - 84m falls that are great to watch. Just to the east, is Lake Mountain, and ideal tobogganing and x country skiing destination for family winter fun. Also looks great with the wildflowers and bushwalking in summer.

Dandenongs Gardens
Undoubtably, one of Australia's best known and visited gardening regions. This region has mountain ash forests, and fern gullies around the area, keeping this beautiful place framed perfectly. Some private gardns are open daily for visits.
