Walk Against Want
Join in Community Aid Abroad's annual Walk Against Want. Start at Sydney's Domain, walk 7.5 or 15 kilometres, and then enjoy post-walk festivities with live music, food, street theatre, and face painting.
Your sponsored walk supports Community Aid Abroad's development projects in some of the world's poorest communities as well as indigenous Australia. You'll be in the running for great prizes from the Body Shop.

Sydney Festival
An all January celebration when the whole city gets into party mode. Fireworks over the harbour on New Year's Eve, ferry races, children's entertainment, art shows, open-air theatre and free concerts in The Domain, featuring Midsummer Jazz, Symphony in the Park and Opera in the Park.
